Privacy Policy
How CryptoConvert handles data for non-custodial swaps.
Overview
CryptoConvert is built for privacy. We do not require registration or KYC. This policy describes what we process to operate the swap interface.
What we collect
Cryptocurrency addresses and amounts needed to create and complete a swap.
When you create an order: your IP address, browser user-agent, and language list (from your browser and request headers). We store these for at least one year to meet our liquidity provider’s compliance requirements and for abuse prevention.
Optional email if you choose to receive transaction notifications (not currently offered in the UI).
What we do not collect
Government ID, names, or KYC documents.
Private keys or seed phrases.
Persistent tracking cookies for advertising or cross-site profiling.
How data is used
Swaps are executed through our liquidity provider (FixedFloat / ff.io). Required transaction data is sent to them to fulfill your order.
We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
Storage
We do not maintain user accounts. Order metadata (IP, user-agent, language list) is stored in encrypted Redis for at least 365 days per completed swap creation, then expires automatically.
Quotes may be cached briefly (about 60 seconds) for performance.
Your browser may store swap references locally; you can clear site data at any time.
Security
API credentials stay server-side only. Traffic uses HTTPS. Sensitive values are redacted in operational logs.
